DURBAN HARBOUR

Point Yacht Club:The Clubhouse is situated on the Esplanade overlooking the Marina.  Temporary membership is granted to the crew of all visiting yachts.  The first week is free and thereafter membership is R50,00 per person/week. Please obtain your membership cards from the office.The Clubhouse is open every day and the administrative staff will assist visitors with formalities and sending and receiving of mail.

The restaurant in the Islander Room is open every day for lunch and open Wednesday to Saturday for dinner. Bar facilities and “pub lunches” are available from Charlie’s Bar.Do try the PYC Pie, whose fame has been spread far and wide by visiting yachts. Braais are held every Thursday evening under “The Thatch”, alongside the Club’s swimming pool.

Casual dress is permitted in the Club, but the minimum is a shirt, shorts, and sandals. Bare feet, vests and bathing costumes are not permitted. Dress regulations for the dining room are: smart./casual
