Club Facilities & Regulations

The club has a walk on marina inside the harbour. Although all berths are privately owned, there are normally sufficient absentee members to enable visitors to find a berth.

The walk-ons have design limitations and cannot normally cater for boats in excess of 16 tons or 15 metres LOA. Larger boats may request a quay berth from Portnet or make use of one of a number of swing moorings in front of the Club in Munro Bay. Alternatively, good sand anchorage in Munro Bay is safe in most conditions. Safe for south-westerly winds, but uncomfortable in strong south-easters. Prior contact with the Club is advisable for proper berth allocation on the marina.

If the Club cannot be raised, the Rear Commodore Moorings can be contacted by calling SEVEN SEAS on Ch16 or by phoning 082-702 0655. Late night arrivals may tie-up to a suitable berth in the marina and make contact as above as soon as possible the next morning.

Restaurant and bar available, closed Mondays - re-opening again on Tuesday 16h00.

Ablutions with hot water are available at the club; as well as telephone and fax facilities. Visitors are welcome and will enjoy the first 2 days free of charge, thereafter rentals will apply which include the full use of the club facilities.
