Club Facilities

Guest swing and walk-on moorings are available but skippers are advised to check availability by phone before arrival. The club will allocate a wing mooring to visitors based on the size, windage and draft of the vessel. All local cruising yachts enjoy 3 days free mooring. Foreign cruisers are entitled to 7 days free mooring.

After which mooring rates become applicable. Rates advised on application and are based on the length of vessel and season of stay. Club reciprocity is respected where applicable and "visiting membership" fees of R6 per person per day become payable from the second month onwards. Facilities include the temporary use of the floating jetties in front of the club to take on passengers or provisions.

Visiting yachts need to provide their own tenders. Modern ablution facilities, and a bar are provided. Formal lunches are served Tuesdays to Saturdays. Haul-out/slip-way facilities, by winch and cradle are available to do minor repair work or anti-fouling. (Rates on application from the club)
